Glad to hear you're doing ok! I was wondering. And the blogging thing gets hard sometimes - as you probably are aware from my complete silence of late.

I would love the details of your new blog.

Wow, now that was some post. Thank you for sharing all that. Michelle and I have gone through some of what you guys are but not all. Michelle gave birth to our Addison, but I love her just as if I did. My family is very accepting of our relationship and the baby, BUT my mom had a really hard time with us getting married and with Michelle having our baby. She really didn't know what to tell people, her friends, etc. I have gotten to the point where I don't care anymore. I figure if they loved me before then they will love me now and if they didn't, they won't. Once Addison was born, you would never know that my mom ever had a problem with it at all. Weird. Her friends approve and actually gave us gifts and came to see us when we visited my parents.
My parents came to visit two weeks after the birth and they couldn't get enough of her. And actually when they left she hugged and kissed Michelle goodbye. Crazy. I couldn't believe it.
Then we went there for a month to visit and my mom just acted as if nothing was different. And my dad introduced Michelle as his daughter in law. Quite impressive. Not saying that it always happens like that, just telling you how it happened with us.
Addison took my last name too. And everyone seemed to be fine with it. Michelle is actually changing her name to mine also.
I wish you luck with everything. I will keep you guys in our thoughts. Take care. Jen and Michelle

That baby is going to be so lucky to have you two as parents. :)
Shame about the family, though, but I hope that at least your father will come around once the baby is born.
